Find A Celebrant for Your Milestone Moment
Ceremonies that memorialize those who have passed from this life and honor those who are nearing the end, offer individuals, families, friends, loved ones, colleagues, and acquaintances a time to eulogize, acknowledge, pay tribute, remember, recognize and celebrate those who are dying or have departed. Thus, begins the process of grieving and the journey towards healing.
Life-Cycle Celebrants who are certified to officiate at funerals are specialists steeped in the history and wisdom of ritual, ceremony, funeral rites, memorial services and the end-of-life traditions of many cultures and religions. Funeral Celebrants are called to this work with a profound respect for each family’s and each person’s unique way of mourning. They too have experienced the circumstances and feelings that accompany the loss of a loved one.
From this deep well of compassion, Funeral Celebrants invest many hours into creating a ceremony aligned with your values, traditions, and beliefs. By meeting extensively with the family and your loved-one’s representatives, Celebrants learn as much as they can about the life being memorialized. In collaboration with you, a carefully crafted eulogy and ceremony is performed with the components you choose. Whether it be through inspiring quotes, meaningful readings, special symbols and rituals, no ceremony is delivered until approved by the family, honoring your wishes every step of the way.
Then, with compassion, sincerity and great care, the Celebrant officiates at the ceremony at the funeral home, crematorium, cemetery or memorial location of your choice. After the funeral, the Celebrant presents your family with a beautiful copy of the ceremony as a keepsake.
